Satisfactory hasn’t even been out for two months, and yet the community is already trying to mod it. Ficsit.app utilizes the FICSIT company name from Satisfactory as a hub for user-created modifications to the game. So far, they add in some nice features that may or may not be added into the game in some capacity later on.
Third Person Mode
Satisfactory is a first-person perspective game, but this mod allows you to get into third-person. This isn’t without it’s bugs of course, since it goes against the game’s design. But, it does add a toggle for the perspective, which is nice if you prefer that. This seems like something that could be eventually added into the game.
Some players like the fact that there are some enemies and ability to take damage in Satisfactory, but others would rather just build and not worry about that stuff! Peaceful Factory prevents all damage that would be dealt to your character, meaning you don’t need to worry about things like fall damage, gas damage, or damage from hostile creatures. This will help you focus on building your factory and not stress about dying!
KronosMod is the temporary answer to the eventual creative mode that Satisfactory will have. This mod gives you an in-game menu that allows you to enable god mode, disable costs or power costs, and enable the full map. You can also unlock all tech and give yourself whatever items you want. This is great for anyone who wants to just mess around and build the ultimate factory. That will take away from the experience of the game, but enable you to make whatever you want!
This mod is similar to the previous mod, as it allows you to control a lot of aspects of the game that you normally can’t. You can toggle god mode, creative mode, game speed, and no clip, among plenty of other things! This basically gives you ultimate access to console commands.
Not much to say here! This Satisfactory mod gives everything a cartoon style cel shading, which will maybe give your game a different look. Up to you whether you like it or not!
This mod will enable a spectator mode. The goal of this is to help make cinematic videos in Satisfactory. Basically, you stop possessing your character, and can fly around freely in photo mode. Let’s see what kind of great videos you all can make!
Jace The Spider
Arachnophobia mode is a blessing to anyone that has a fear of spiders. Normally this mode replaces the spiders with static cat sprites. This mod instead replaces the spider with a cartoon spider with Jace’s face on it. Needless to say, don’t install this mod if you have Jace-o-phobia.
This mod is super useful if you want to bookmark a few key locations. Simply bring up the menu and either save or load your locations. If you load up a saved location, you will instantly teleport there. This is a great mod if you only care about efficiency and not “playing fair”.
This is a simple teleportation mod that lets you teleport between placed beacons, while touching one. Just press E while on a beacon, and you’ll appear at the next one!
Eagle Drone Mod
If you want to take a picture of your factory from above, then you need an eagle drone! This mod allows you to take control of a drone with more movement capabilities than the built-in photo mode allows. This should really be in the game for real, but this mod will get the job done for now.
